What Is the CoolSculpting Procedure?

The CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure is FDA-cleared and contours the body by safely and effectively freezing away unwanted fat for good without surgery or downtime. CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.
After consulting with one of our certified CoolSculpting specialists to determine your personalized course of treatment, a gel pad will be applied to the area in which you want to reduce fat, followed by the CoolSculpting applicator. No anesthetic is required, so no shots are needed.
The applicator will draw up the targeted tissue between its two cooling panels then the cooling begins. During your procedure, feel free to read, check your email, or even take a nap.
Each CoolSculpting treatment requires about 1 hour per area. Therefore, if you want to treat the hip-waist area on both the right and the left, your treatment session would require about 2 hours. Your CoolSculpting specialist will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals.
