Dr. William Sando
Dr. Sando is affiliated with all major Indianapolis hospitals. Dr. Sando has an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center. He has lectured and is published widely on a variety of plastic surgery subjects. He has been a leader in numerous new surgery techniques in areas such as minimal scar breast reduction and reconstruction. Dr. Sando is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. William Sando was born in Evanston, IL. He includes among his many life interests a love of music: playing, writing or listening. He is also at home in the outdoors and loves the active sports of snow and water skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and camping. He is active in the life of his church at Second Presbyterian.
Favorite Music: Jazz
Favorite Food: Anything but okra.
Favorite Vacation Spot: West Coast of Michigan

When asked why he chose the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Sando replied ”As a surgeon, I wanted to be involved in rebuilding and restoring. Planning a variety of surgeries from head to toe, applying geometric principles, observing the miracles of wound healing, communicating with patients on several levels, and serving all ages are as satisfying as I could ever dream, just as exciting now to me as when I started 23 years ago.
Dr. Sando is married to a high school teacher and artist; they have two grown sons and a confused cat named Romeo. He resides in Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Christopher Jones
Dr. Jones has been in the private practice of plastic surgery for sixteen years. Originally focusing on major head , neck and extremity reconstruction and microsurgery, he has more recently emphasized body contouring and facial rejuvenation. Along with Drs. Sando and Aker, he has developed cosmetic surgery for bariatric patients in central Indiana.
Dr. Jones is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Indiana State Medical Association and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

When asked why he enjoys this field of work, Dr. Jones responded “Becoming a plastic surgeon took many hours of study and dedication. As a surgeon, I find each and every patient interesting and challenging”.
Dr. Jones resides in Indianapolis with his wife, three children and a ferocious Chihuahua, “Campanita”.
Dr. John Aker
Dr. Aker is affiliated with several Indianapolis hospitals, has lectured and is published widely on a variety of plastic surgery topics. Dr. Aker brought to Indianapolis several new techniques in cosmetic surgery including the endoscopic breast augmentation, “endo aug”, and Asian eyelid surgery.
Dr. Aker is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He is a candidate member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association and the Indiana State Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
